Overview - Who Better Than Kymmy!!!???

Against the bottom team the Black Vegetables managed to strike and strike hard with a 127 to 53 win.  Kymmy!!! let loose a devastating spell of bowling of 3 for zero, well actually he did point out that this means he did not bowl at all.  The team seemed to gel a lot better without the pressure of playing a team that beats us.

Game Analysis

Big "If Ya Smell What I Am Cookin" Gav

Big Gav batted quite well except for one over where the old Gav returned as he tried to belt his way out of some poor shots.  Bowled some tight overs with several dot balls as he applied the blow torch to the opposition batsman.  In general fielded well..

Michaelmon

Mickymon has almost completed the season without getting bowled.  He batted solidly when allowed to face.  Bowling was great and certainly better than last weeks over of 5 wides and a no ball.  Fielding picked up a little this week but still needs some improvement to get back to his explosive best.

Glynne

After a dreadful score of 4 2 weeks ago Glynne has powered back with two scores in the twenties.  Bowled superbly to have his best figures for the season of 2 for 1 (which matched the Toymaster).  Took the stumps this week after injuring a fingernail the week before and using that as an excuse not to take the stumps.  Did have one brain explosion where he blasted his teammates over a run out opportunity on his bolwing, given the scores were not close it did seem rather silly.

Avatar

Solid support for Glynne with a score of 17.  Fielded quite well with several run outs including one where he ran at the stumps with the ball despite critism from Kymmy!!! for this tactic.  Bowling in the first over was bad but improved to be 3 for 2.

Kymmy!!!

Kymmy!! has lifted this week as he punished the bad opposition bolwers for 22 in a dominant display that demonstrated why he was first picked in a Black Vegetables side all those years ago when Hross (who first started the team) needed a replacement for Adam Gilchrist.  Like his batting, Kymmy!!! butchered the opposition with his pinpoint bowling.

Donna

Well no kids and Donna does well with 14 with the bat and slightly above average bowling figures.  Still managed to get out caught as is becomming customary for Donna each week.  It was on the only ball that Glynne was not watching which was probably lucky for the team and all those standing near Glynne..

Peter

Peter scored a very good 18 and showed that he is not just a bowler.  Turned up late to put a little spice into things but had the stuff on the arena. Peter was consistent with the ball and in the field

Toymaster

The Toymaster had a bad week with the bat for some unknown reason.  Fielded very well to effect 3 stumpings and took a great catch of his own bowling.  His bowling was his personal best with 2 for 1.
