Big Gavstheman Ul Haq has been on a rampage of late. Freed from responsibility, he is now batting with a much less care free attitude. Without the pressure of facing the last balls he has been able to adopt a more disciplined approach which delivered him the second highest score.. Big Gav was lucky not to hold onto a catch which almost blasted through his lower abdominal area while fielding. Big Gavs overall bowling has lifted with a cunning series of wides being delivered until he slammed a ball into middle stump to show who was boss.
Supported his fellow Brother of Destruction very well.with the bat. His last over of bowling was an improvement with MickyMon looking for some easy bowling against the easier teams coming up in the next few weeks. Fielding was good in the difficult Kymmy!!! position. Along with Big Gav, forgot they were batting first and put their feet up only to be told to get out there.
Dominated with the bat to get 34. Fielded well behind the stumps although did try to palm this job off at one point in time. Managed to brilliantly deflect a ball heading for 7 into the Toymasters hands for a catch, of course Kymmy!!! muttered "Just catch the fucking ball". He also caused irreparable knee damage when stopping another ball from hitting the back net.
Batted quite well until his bat appeared to vanish and he was then bowled by an accurate delivery. This denied Glynne the chance at being in a 50+ partnership. Took one catch but lost sight of another in the lights when it almost hit him in the head of the Toymasters bowling. Bowled well, although two full tosses did not look good. Almost got hit by the batsman when Kymmy!! put one in short. Attempted to slap one ball in but missed completely demonstrating that this is only for skilled professionals.
Kymmy!! has been batting below his standards for a while now and it is obvious that a few stints at captaincy have drained the energy he needs to stay on top while batting. Had a very good spell as wicket keeper where he even affected a run out at the bowlers end when he threw the stumps down. Now we understand why he only uses one glove when keeping. His bowling was a little off but he continues to take wickets and contain the opposition in the crucial last over.
Well no surprises here as the kids managed to distract Donna yet again. It does not matter if it is easy or hard teams the statistical evidence shows that Donna struggles whenever the kids are present. The team will need to consider some options here, such as finding a babysitter..
Was the most effective bowler with figures of 2 for 2. With only 5 wickets taken for the innings Gerrick did well to get two. At batting he let things slip a bit by going for big shots which in the indoor arena were not overly effective and as such got out 3 times.
