Big Gavstheman Ul Haq powered his way to another skin winning partnership. Displaying deceptive intelligence, Big Gav steered the Brothers of Destruction to a solid opening partnership. With the ball Big Gav was a wizard has he kept the opposition run rate down. It was in the field however where he made his biggest impact. Positioning his 500 kg frame in the middle of the pitch, he ensured that a batsman had to drill the ball through him, to get it to the back net, and believe me they tried. Only one real flaw was when he tried to effect a run out but rather than carry the ball towards the stumps Imhotep style, he just threw the ball away from little over two feet away..
Mickymon hit the twenties this week with a super 21 Actually allowing balls to pass him as wides rather than play at them for nothing he built a solid score. Had a very strong first over where he bowled 4 dot balls. He lost his way in his last over to the oppositions best batsman.
Finally Kymmy!! returns to form with the second highest score of 23. After complaining how he should be complimented for getting 14 he proves that 14 is a shit score for him and he should be doing better. Did a good job of keeping and in general bowled well. The only main issue is his continued hogging of the strike where he is simply not looking to make extra runs of wides. Rumour also has it that after 25 years of cricket Kymmy has finally been bowled not once, but twice in a game at Weston.
With no kids Donna got the best bowling score for the team in an aggressive spell of 1 for 9. Even the hard to impress Kymmy!! was for once saying it was a good effort and "Dont bring those fucking kids again". Of course Glynne had to step in here to say "Settle down Kymmy!!". Batting improved but Donna was clearly not happy.
Had a very successful night with a top team score of 34, a 50 partnership and credible bowling figures. Not a lot more to add here really as he rarely managed to fuck up. Did manage to once again deflect a catch to the Toymaster.
Batted well enough to get Glynne to a 50 partnership. Fielded quite well and bowled a very good first over but suffered when he had to bowl to some batsmen who could actually bat.
Struggled to understand the concept of bat before wicket and may need an intensive session of of listening to Glynne before adjusting. Still got 13 and steered the team to a win along with the Toymaster. Bowled some fierce overs that apart from a few sixes showed his dominance over the batsmen
