On the 330rd day of 1001 the party arrived in Haranshire where a marker stone proclaimed 4 miles to Milbourne. As the party moved through a wooded area called Lrychwood a group of farmers approached the party welcoming them the Haranshire. As they got closer the farmers suddenly produced weapons and attacked. It was a quick fight with Viole proving the difference with his rare insights into strategy and his deft tactical leadership. The party captured one of the farmers and continued on to Milbourne.
At Milbourne the party was directed to the local lords house called Darius. Darius was perturbed at the news of banditry so close to his town but commented that it was on increase in Haranshire and the surrounding lands. The party are introduced to Gary Glitter the local constable. Kirth hands the prisoner over to Gary who thanks them for their desire to seek justice.
The party look for somewhere to stay the night and settle on the "The Baron of Mutton". It is here they find there has been a disturbance with a girl called Jeleneth who has disappeared. Gary Glitter arrives and asks the party's help in locating her. He says that Jeleneth was the apprentice of Toaster the wizard of Thurmaster. Haldelar her father arrives and also begs the party to help. All her belongings have been left in her room and there is no sign of a struggle. Haldelar hands over a small broach containing a portrait of Jeleneth and mentions that she always wore a blue cloak with silver clasps and a silver signet ring with a "J" engraved on the inside. These possessions were not in the room.
Glitter mentions that maybe she left to see Toaster and did not bother taking her other belongings. Viole who was the most quick witted of the party argued that it was unlikely an apprentice mage would travel without their spell components. The party resolved to travel to Thurmaster the next day to see Toaster as they not only needed to deliver the chest but also ask him about Jeleneth.
