My new tribe consisted of Limbobo who at this time was a cretin that enjoyed banging his head on things (as cretins are wont to do!!). Gherkin a priest of a faith I am not familiar with who seemed to be a crossbreed of many different creatures, Skye an elf who specialised in magic and thievery, Menstral a Githzeri mage whose origins send a shiver down my spine and Gymick a dwarven thief who likes waving his battle axe around.
It is hardest to remember the early times as so much is shadowed by the brightness of Limbobo achieving his destiny and eclipsing anything else. Skye had gone ahead to scout for any trouble on our way to this town. She had encountered several thugs and had suggested that Limbobo should go forward alone to deal with them. With the rest of us providing support Limbobo crushed these bandits without any of the tribe sustaining serious damage.
The town we were heading for was called Verblonc, as we later found out when Skye and Gymick did a quick tour of the place. They found out about an abandoned keep close by that had been the staging post for an invasion of the area by the forces of evil long ago. The tribe agreed survey the site and even examine the possibility of using it as a base.
Upon our arrival at the keep we were attacked by several giant frogs. These creatures had no hope of defeating an armed and fully operational Limbobo. To get into the keep we had to cross a drawbridge that looked in worse condition than our mongrelman friend. Limbobo only just made it across and it seemed only a matter of time before it broke under his extreme weight. Inside the keep we encountered some spiders who Limbobo insisted on attacking. He head butted a spider which caused its fangs to penetrate his hide and poison him. It was his last act of idiocy before his rebirth. The poison killed Limbobo the fool but the Druid from the town was brought to the shattered body of Limbobo and after getting him back to Verblonc, Limbobo the Chosen One was reborn. It is from this moment that I saw clearly the destiny Krgssin'ggjk had spoken of. The litany of Limbobo was realised and a new hope was made apparent.
We returned to the Keep and made further progress in examining what was there. I was also struck down with poison in combat with some snakes(as a mark of the link I have with the chose one). The Druid again was needed to help me. At this point in time the Druid called a public meeting of the town to assure the townsfolk that we meant them no harm and were here to help them. This was our time to reveal ourselves, this was our time of revenge against all evil.
Our next assault on the keep allowed us into the hidden rooms underneath and it is there that we defeated a large band of bandits and Gymick almost lost his life to a tick. A force of undead was destroyed by us but my faith at that point was not string enough to banish the creatures before combat. We also met a minotaur name Torque who we accepted into the tribe and helped in flushing the evil from the keeps ruins.
