It may be of little importance overseas, but Friday 12 December 2003 will live in imfamy as the day Australia officially qualified as.a fully-fledged Nazi nation. Not neo-Nazi. Not half-Nazi. Not 90 percent Nazi but the full-blown authentic thing. The Australia we all knew and loved is DEAD!
How could such a catastrophe happen?
There was one last step before Australia qualified as a fully-fledged Nazi nation - execution facilities were lacking in Prime Minister Howard's concentration camps for unwanted humans.
Not that the Prime Minister is squeamish about executions. For its deterrent effect, he yearned to be able to deport unwanted humans to homelands where they'd face torture and execution - but his 'final solution' had been challenged in the High Court.
On a day unequalled in judicial cowardice, the High Court recently refused an application by refugee advocates for a stay of execution on John Howardıs asylum-seeker deportation plans - even when torture and death will follow.
With the High Court silent and Parliament in recess, only public outrage can prevent agents of the Howard regime plucking unwanted humans from his concentration camps and escorting them overseas - handcuffed and drugged - to face torture and execution by dedicated specialists.
