STUART DEVLIN DESIGNER BOWL |

Fantastic Stuart Devlin designed bowl made by Viners of Sheffield England circa 1960's - 1970.Made from Stainless Steel and Gold plating. The polished stainless steel bowl is a sphere that can rotate on its guilt base that has a mod molded design.I believe that there were only a small amount of these made, the prototype being of silver and gold. Devlin is a famous Australian designer , having designed Australia's first decimal coinage in 1965, and is represented in major galleries. In Good condition it is 4" High X 3" Diameter.Note my photography does not do justice to this great bowl,and yes that is my refection, please do not let that put you off!!!.
An unusual piece of design history it will enhance any Retro or Australiana collection or be just very chic to use! |
