Beautiful 19th Century Japanese ( Nippon) Hand Painted Imari Plate. This plate was not intended for export as it carries no backstamp.This plate features the classical central motif of a vase of flowers.The glaze has a blue tinge , which is most noticeable on the back of the plate as the front is busy with the hand painted pattern.
Condition is perfect with no chips cracks or repairs. Size 8½" Diameter.(215mm) A beautiful oriental piece to add to your collection it will not only prove a wise investment but is a joy to display! |
