Stunning Twentieth Century Prystal- Bakelite? Amber Necklace,made from hand facetted transparent Beads.The beads made in imitation of Honey Amber, right down to the inclusions, (Pollen ?).A great chunky strand of lozenge shapes." Prystal is completely transparent non-marbled Bakelite, produced in several colors, including green, red, pink, teal, purple and amber. The amber prystal is often called applejuice. Applejuice should be amber-clear, with NO marbling ". I think this is made from " Applejuice" Prystal, though I am no expert.The colour is actually lighter in day light.
Condition :- Original , no major damage only the odd minute flea nibble on a bead, commensurate with age. Size :- 2'6 ¾" Long max. 14" Drop,. Beads Graduating from ¾" square down to ¼"sq. Perhaps.. just because you love fun things or are a "serious " collector,... it's a must! |
