CAR MASCOT HOOD ORNAMENT

Great car mascot in the form of an American Eagle standing with out stretched wings.
Dating from the Second World War, it most probably graced the bonnet of a high ranking US officer's staff car. Made from cast alloy (ex aeroplane ?) it stands 2½" high,(plus the mounting bolt ),and has a wing span of 6". Condition is great with no damage what so ever and retaining its original patina. |
