A delightful pair of majolica salt and pepper shaped as a flower, leaves and branch. The flower of pink and white petals with yellow centers, the leaves ,green the branches are brown, the body is in green. Condition there is crazing to both, and two minor nicks to the pepper these do not detract and could be easily be repaired if so desired. Size 3¾"wide max X 1¾" high max. Probably of American origin, and from the 19th century. |
