We have seen so many wonderful dog sites from around the world, that we have decided to offer our very own Kelcliffe Kennels Web Awards - to acknowledge the hard work and effort that goes into putting a web site together. If you know of a site that you think is deserving of one of our awards then please read the criteria below. If you believe that site complies, then send us an email. We'll look at the site as soon as possible, and notify the owners if they've won an award (you can nominate your own site). Kelcliffe Kennels offers two awards. The Cool Site Award is given to those sites that have made a genuine effort and meet the criteria below - you do not get an award simply by asking, it must be earned. The Award for Website Excellence is only given to the very best sites meeting the criteria below - it will only be given once a month ... at the most. You just nominate a site - we decide which award(s), if any, to give. The decision to give an award or not is based on our opinion, and is not necessarily a reflection of the nominated site.

AWARD CRITERIA

Your site must be dog related - in particular it should make a genuine effort to educate people about a particular breed. Sites that contain mostly links or pictures may be useful or cute, but (generally) we're looking for a bit more substance than that. Sites should promote responsible dog care and ownership, and demonstrate a love of animals. Your site must be family friendly - it must contain no adult material (i.e. pornography, violence, racism, sexism, etc.) or have any links to such sites. Your site should be complete - 'under construction' signs or broken internal links and images are marked down. Extra consideration will be given to Australian sites - we're trying to encourage more of these Down Under.
