| Colour : | Almost any colour, except white or solid black. Dark points on ears, muzzle, and tail are desirable. |

Today, the Cairn Terrier is more of a companion animal. Like all terriers, they are frisky and independent bundles of energy.
They are long lived dogs with few health problems, and many live well into their late teens. They are also quite sturdy, and are much tougher than their
small size suggests. The most famous Cairn is Toto from the movie The Wizard of Oz. |
